Geocentric Proofs

Historical scientific experiments designed to detect Earth's motion through space returned unexpected null results, leading to conclude that Earth is Firm and Immovable.

The Michelson-Morley Experiment (1887)

The most famous failed experiment in physics history

Experiment Overview
Conducted by Albert A. Michelson and Edward W. Morley

In 1887, Albert Michelson and Edward Morley conducted an experiment designed to detect the “luminiferous aether” - the hypothetical medium through which light was believed to propagate.

The experiment used an interferometer to compare the speed of light in perpendicular directions. If Earth were moving through space at approximately 67,000 mph (orbital velocity), there should have been a measurable difference in the speed of light in different directions.

Key Parameters

  • Expected fringe shift: 0.4 fringes
  • Observed fringe shift: Less than 0.01 fringes
  • Result: Null (no motion detected)
The Unexpected Result

The experiment found no significant difference in the speed of light regardless of direction. This null result was completely unexpected and has been called “the most famous failed experiment in history.”

What This Suggests

According to flat earth researchers, this null result is consistent with a stationary Earth. If Earth were truly racing through space at 67,000 mph, the experiment should have detected this motion. The fact that it didn't suggests Earth may not be moving at all.

Mainstream Explanation

The scientific establishment explained this result by abandoning the aether theory and developing Einstein's Special Relativity, which states that the speed of light is constant in all reference frames.

How It Worked

The Michelson interferometer split a beam of light into two perpendicular beams. These beams traveled to mirrors and back, then recombined. If Earth were moving through the aether, one beam would travel slightly slower (against the “aether wind”) and the beams would create an interference pattern.

The apparatus was mounted on a stone slab floating in mercury to eliminate vibrations and allow easy rotation. The experiment was repeated at different times of day and year to account for Earth's orbital position.

Airy's Failure (1871)

George Biddell Airy's stellar aberration experiment (In order to read this experiment, you must visit Cambridge University. It is not publically accessible.)

The Experiment

Sir George Biddell Airy (1801-1892) was the Astronomer Royal of Britain. In 1871, he conducted an experiment to prove that Earth was moving through space by measuring stellar aberration - the apparent shift in star positions due to Earth's motion.

Airy filled a telescope with water, reasoning that if Earth were moving, the changed speed of light in water would affect the angle of aberration. He expected the angle to change, which would prove Earth's motion.

The Unexpected Result

The aberration angle remained exactly the same whether the telescope was filled with water or air. This null result became known as“Airy's Failure” because it failed to prove Earth's motion.

Read “The Observational Approach to Cosmology” written by Edwin Hubble.

Hubble often reference Airy's writings where he expressed frustration with experimental results that seemed to place Earth at the center.

“I am greatly bothered by this. I had hoped to show the Earth's motion through the heavens, but the result places the Earth obstinately at the center, as if Copernicus had never existed.” ~ George Biddle Airy

- Attributed to George Airy regarding experimental results

Note: The exact source and context of this quote is debated among historians. It is frequently cited in iterature as evidence of Airy's frustration with results that supported a geocentric model.

Key Implication

If stellar aberration is caused by Earth's motion, changing the medium (water vs. air) should have changed the aberration angle. The fact that it didn't suggests one of two possibilities:

  • 1.Earth is not moving (geocentric view)
  • 2.The stars themselves are moving around Earth

Sagnac Experiment (1913)
Georges Sagnac

Sagnac demonstrated that light traveling with the rotation of a platform moves faster than light traveling against it. Flat earth researchers argue this proves an absolute reference frame exists.

ResultDetected rotational motion but not linear motion through space
ImplicationClearly Earth is the center of movement around it, not orbiting the sun

Trouton-Noble Experiment (1903)
Frederick Trouton & H.R. Noble

Attempted to detect Earth's motion through the aether by measuring the torque on a charged capacitor. Expected the capacitor to experience a turning force due to Earth's velocity.

ResultNull result - no torque detected

De Sitter Binary Star Test (1913)
Willem de Sitter

Studied light from binary stars to determine if the speed of light is affected by the velocity of its source. If light speed varied, orbital observations would appear distorted.

ResultFound no evidence of light speed variation
ImplicationAether clearly exists as a necessary medium

The Foucault Pendulum Question
Léon Foucault

While often cited as proof of Earth's rotation, Real truth researchers point out that a pendulum swing needs inertia or kinetic motion in the first place.

ResultPendulum plane rotates over time & needs inertia so the earth spin does not just start up the pendulum. Also most focault pendulums in museums run on electro magnetism.
ImplicationClearly indicates the Earth can't cause a Pendulum to move.

The Pattern of Null Results (ALWAYS NULL EARTH MOTION, NEVER NULL SKY MOTION)

Across more than a century of increasingly precise experiments designed to detect Earth's motion through space, scientists have consistently found null earth velocity every single time. While mainstream science explains these through theories like special relativity, geocentric researchers argue the simpler explanation is that Earth simply isn't moving.

US Navy Submarine Testimonies

Former submarine personnel share observations from their service that support a stationary, level earth.

No Curvature Compensation

"I served on a US Navy 688i fast attack nuclear submarine. I can personally attest that we never constantly angled down during our submarine deployments. One of our longest transits went from the Gulf of Oman, around the southern tip of Africa, and back to Connecticut - we were underwater for almost three months straight."

Diving Officer Orders

"I never once in my five years active duty heard the officer of the deck or the diving officer give the order to consistently change the angle of the submarine to compensate for the curvature of the earth. The primary task is to maintain the submarine as level as possible while in transit."

Periscope Observations

"When the submarine is at periscope depth, observers start to see ship masts at about 8-9 miles depending on atmospheric conditions. The whole of ships become visible at about 5 miles. At 9 miles, targets should be 26 feet behind the curve - but this isn't what's observed."

Ring Laser Gyroscope

"US Navy submarines use the AN/WSN-7 Ring Laser Gyro for navigation. Unlike mechanical gyroscopes, ring laser gyros use light as a reference - they shoot lasers and use digital encoders to determine position. No 'gravity correction' required - they simply reference level."

Technical & Scientific Observations

Technical evidence from radar systems, gyroscopes, and physics that challenges the spinning globe model.

Radar Straight Lines

Radar transmits signals that bounce off objects and return in straight lines. Radar cannot travel over a curve - it's dependent on line of sight. Every radar diagram shows straight lines, not curved ones. Yet ships track objects 30-40+ miles away.

Aerostat Buoyancy

"How come my 4,000 pound, 74,000 cubic foot aerostat isn't getting pushed toward ground? It weighs more than you do. It's because it's displacing less weight than the atmosphere - density and buoyancy, not gravity."

8 Inches Per Mile Squared

The curvature formula states 8 inches per mile squared of drop. At 100 miles, this equals approximately 5,280 feet (one mile) of curvature. Pilots, sailors, and surveyors consistently fail to measure this expected drop.

Gyroscope Reference Level

Both ship gyro compasses and aircraft attitude indicators reference a level horizon. If flying around a ball, at what point would an upside-down aircraft's gyro "correct itself"? It can't - because it always references true level.

Polaris (the North Star) has been in the same position for thousands of years while we supposedly spiral through space at incredible speeds. The heavens work like gears, telling us time and years - inconsistent with heliocentric motion.

Crepuscular Rays

"At sea, you can observe crepuscular rays clearly - the sun shining down like a flashlight in a cone. If the sun were 93 million miles away, these rays would be parallel, not converging to a nearby point."

Military Ballistics & Coriolis

Military gunners and snipers share their experience with ballistics calculations.

No Earth Rotation Compensation

"Upon speaking with military gunners in both the Army and Marine Corps, they assume they compensate for earth rotation. But upon having them look into their materials, they calculate bullet fall based on angular velocity drop and friction - curvature is just 'supposed to be corrected along with it' like wind correction."

Assumed vs. Calculated

The coriolis effect in both aviation and military ballistics is always "assumed to be correct" rather than actually calculated. It's built into wind correction angles without separate verification - an assumed truth with no actual basis in demonstrated reality.
